Who We Vaccinate

ABRYSVO is FDA-approved to help prevent lower respiratory tract disease (LRTD) caused by RSV in adults 60 and older, adults 18 to 59 at increased risk for RSV, and in pregnant individuals at 32 through 36 weeks gestation to help protect infants from birth through 6 months of age.

Priority groups include:

Adults 75 and older.
Adults 60 to 74 at increased risk (chronic heart or lung disease, weakened immune system, severe obesity, diabetes, or residents of nursing homes or long-term care facilities).
Adults 18 to 59 at increased risk for severe RSV due to chronic conditions such as asthma, COPD, heart failure, diabetes, or chronic kidney disease.
Pregnant individuals at 32 through 36 weeks gestation.

What Is RSV?

RSV is a highly contagious virus that infects the lungs and respiratory tract. It can cause more serious illness such as bronchiolitis and pneumonia, especially in older adults, infants, and people with underlying health conditions.
